This weekend was great! My wife and I acually started and finished a project together without fighting which almost never happens. We are living with my parents at the momment, which sucks donkey ball but in this economy we have no choice. Well anyways a little over a month ago my dad brought home this ugly ass metal table with a glass top and the four chairs, they were painted this nasty gold and the cushions were this ugly, dirty tan. My dad is a trash man for the city of L.A. and he is alway bringing crap home and never does shit with it! So when brought this table home I was less than happy but whatever not my house I just have to live there. Well my mom loves the table but hates the color and wants it repainted and the cushions recoved, I let her know that I can that its not hard! Fast forward over a month and she finaly brings it up again so I tell her if she buys the spray paint and fabric I will do it this weekend, she went out and bought it all Friday night and Saturday my wife spray painted the table and chairs black and I recoved the cushions with the light green and baby blue paisley fabric. It took most of Saturday to complete but we got them all painted and the cushions done, Sunday we put the cushions back on the chairs and set it all up in the dinning room. They are so pretty now.
After we finished we got cleaned up and headed over to my aunts house, she had called well I was working on the cushions and told me she had something to show me. We got to my aunts and talked to my cousin, not my aunts kid but she lives with her along with two of her kids and a grandkid. Then I went upstairs to my aunts room so she could show me what she wanted to, it was an episode of the show Ace of Cakes, they were making an R2D2 cake for Lucus Films, they got to go to Skywalker Ranch, lucky basturds, okay for anyone who does not know me I am a huge Star Wars fan, I mean I have the Rise of the Empire symbol tattooed on my in right arm and I am not finished I want more. So this was really cool of my aunt to dvr this for me she loves star wars too, but she doesn't really like ace of cakes. The sad part is I still have not finished the episode cuz my other cousin called in tears.
She and her boyfriend had got in a fight well at a friends house the weekend. What the fight was about is not really importan. Let just say her boyfriend was drunk and for him that is never a good thing! So she asked my aunt to come get her in the valley! I told her I would go with her. On our way we had to stop and get gas and as we were going to get back on the freeway we saw this little wienner dog in the middle of the intersection headed towards the off ramp, so I jumped out of the car and yelled at the stupid dog and the little dude came right to me. He had a tag so we called the number and his owner came and got him, the owner who was drunk off his ass and really shouldn't have been driving but whatever. So the rest of our adventure went smoothly, we got back my aunts around midnight I think.
Sunday was less exciting, like I said we put the cushions on the chairs and set up the table amd chair in the dinning room. Had to clean out the coffee pots, and wash some towels. Had to go to my sister, so my wife could get familar with her apartment because she was starting babysitting for my sister Monday. And then came home ate jack in the box! Got pissed off at my mother because she can never just say thank you, she always has to find flaws with anything you do even if your doing her a favor and that the first thing she did when she saw the table and chairs, we ran out of paint so the buttom of one chair is not completely painted but its the buttom and no will ever see it, all I can say is next time bitch do it yourself. Well that was my weekend! For the most part it was great!
